Welcome to "Sims In Bloom: A Legacy Challenge in The Sims 4", a unique odyssey that invites you to cultivate your own digital dynasty. Prepare to watch your Sims flourish and evolve over time, leaving an indelible mark on the simulation you create. Will you witness a legacy of success and celebration, or will your family overcome unexpected challenges?
General Rules
For each generation complete the designated aspiration, career, and skills.
Asterisk * marked points are optional, you can choose to complete these to make the challenge more difficult.
There are two colours associated with every generation. Use these for genetics (berry/banilla), or just clothes and house decor if you wish.
Start each new generation with a small house/apartment and 1000 simoloeons. If you want to make the challenge harder, you can start each generation on an empty lot with 0 simoleons (rags to riches style!)
Play on any lifespan you wish (short is not recommended)
GENERATION 1 - DAISY
Gardening has always been your passion. Owning a large, healthy garden is all you’ve ever wanted in life, even if your nails constantly have soil under them and you have so many broken pots you’ve lost count. Your happy place is meditating in the shade of the fruit trees that you grew yourself from tiny saplings. You sit and wonder what your family will grow to do, and hope that they will flourish just as beautifully as your garden has. This is the start of your family legacy!
Aspiration: Freelance botanist
Traits: Cheerful, clumsy, loves outdoors
Career: Gardening
Skills: Gardening, fishing, wellness
Objectives of the generation
Live on a lot with the lot challenge ‘Simple living’
Grow a cowplant and keep it alive for as long as you live (if it dies, immediately plant a new one)
Grow 5 perfect plants
Marry a sim who also has the ‘loves outdoors’ trait

GENERATION 2 - BUTTERCUP
From a young age you’ve always loved animals of all kinds. You spent your childhood playing in your parents’ garden, fascinated by the wildlife all around you. As a teen you were gifted a laptop for your birthday and you spent most of your time attached to it, competing in video game tournaments. Your love for animals persisted however, and you use the money won from video game tournaments to start your own vet clinic! ‘Romance’ and ‘marriage’ are things you never saw in your future, but you would still like to raise a child with love and care like you were.
Aspiration: Friend of the animals
Traits: Cat lover, geek, unflirty
Career: Vet
Skills: Veterinarian, programming, video gaming
Objectives of the generation
Enter in a video game tournament at least once a week from when you are a teen
Earn money by owning and running a vet clinic

Never get into a relationship or marry (you can attempt to date for fun but they never work out)
Adopt or have a science baby at least once

GENERATION 3 - LAVENDER
You were adopted by your loving parent into a small family, and so you’ve never been much of a people person. Keeping to yourself in your room you discovered your love of creating things with your own two hands, and of course playing your beloved violin. You spend a lot of time on your creations because every one has to be prefect!
Aspiration: Master maker
Traits: Loner, recycle disciple, perfectionist
Career: Freelance crafter
Skills: Fabrication, knitting, violin
Objectives of the generation
Play the violin as a child
Be companions with a pet as a child/teen
Only have one best friend as a child/teen, and eventually fall in love and marry them

You dreamed of a quiet life without fame and fortune, growing old with the one you love.

You dream of living in a large house filled with love and family.
